Who am I ? Why do I make art ? What do I need to say ?

I am Antzelina, a European artist with Greek and Serbian heritage, currently based in the UK. My multicultural background and multilingual upbringing have deeply shaped the way I see the world, through stories, folklore, and layered perspectives across different cultures.
My work is rooted in storytelling, empathy, and observation. I am drawn to how narratives are formed through people, place, and emotion, and I often explore these ideas through illustration, concept art, and visual storytelling. I am particularly inspired by mythology, nature, and the emotional depth found in everyday life.
Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a creative facilitator and educator, supporting children and young people in developing confidence and self-expression through creativity. This balance between making and teaching has strengthened my belief in art as a tool for connection, communication, and understanding.
I consider myself an artist, storyteller, and educator, and I am interested in work that allows these roles to overlap where creativity can inform, support, and bring people together.
